Haunted Leg

Oh, being sick is soooo fun, huh? Luckily, this four day weekend is a lazy one; no tests to study for or being readings due. I've been laying in bed reading Coffee at Luke's and watching numerous shows on hulu.com. But the sickness can't keep me away from my camera! Usually, I have no idea what to take pictures of, so I just look around and eventually find some odd angle on an everyday object. I just find things I love and find out how to make them into amazing photographs! haha I have a photo shoot scheduled for my friend Robin coming up. I'm sooooo excited! Portraits are my favorite, but not many people want to be my models! I'm thinking of offering "Roommate Photos." Sandra and Sarah mentioned them a couple weeks ago and I thought it would be so fun! We'll see how the week goes! Hopefully this sickness will blow over relatively quickly!

"It's bad enough being sick, but anyone can have a cold! I mean I'd like to have a good illness, something different, impressive. Just once I'd like to be able to say 'Yeah, I'm not feeling so good, my leg is haunted!'" "See there's a reason why you only take one package of Theraflu a day!"

Oprah Says!

It's been a busy while since my last post! I've been busy writing more papers and reading tons! I guess my hard work really payed off last night with my 94% on my first biology test of the semester! I was soooooo beyond worried about it but Tanya and I spent a long time studying and I'm so grateful we did! Last week I also took my first humanities test, I don't know the score yet but I'm very confident that it was an A as well!! I still have two tests this week and part of a 12-15 page paper to write, all of which are well on their way to being as good as my last assignments!
I was tired of not having any leisure reading time, so I bought myself a book! It's called Coffee at Luke's and it is a fascinating read!!! I've decided that this summer I am going to read a ton more!! I've been watching the Jurassic Park movies and now want to read Michael Crichton's book too!
Photos are coming along! Here are a few from my last week! Hopefully I'm getting better and trying new things! It's hard to find something new to take a picture of every day!

Electrocute Yourself!

Soooooooo.....this is the busiest week of the semester so far! Luckily, my paper for Humanities is pushed back to Tuesday and I'm already more than half way done, so that's good!! Then, American Christianity is cancelled until NEXT Thursday because Professor Fluhman has a University meeting and then is giving a paper at Yale University on Mormonism and Race! Fun stuff! And surprise! Another paper due!! I'm still many many chapters behind in Book of Mormon, but I just have to make it through Helaman 9 before my first test next week. We'll see how the week turns out!
I'm 99% that I have some sort of restless leg syndrome! They buzz randomly and make me feel like I need to run when I don't want to! haha
The past two days have been interesting photography wise....it's only day 5 of Photo 365 and I can't think of a darn thing to take a picture of. Forgive me if some days are more boring than others!

Christian Rock

Today was a FANTASTIC day at church!!!!! The main focus was on prayer and the miracles it can bring about. MacKenzie spoke in sacrament meeting and Courtney taught in Relief Society. The people here at BYU are some of the best people ever, I'm sure of it!
This week promises to be busy and full of homework! I have a paper due on Thursday for Humanities about The Wizard of Oz; I have to start working and outlining a big family biography for my Home and Family Living class; I have 30 chapters to read in Alma because Brother Stohlton is crazy; I have my first midterm for Humanities on film and dance; I have to find something to do my Nature Experience on for Biology; I'm constantly busy taking photos; and on Saturday I have to see the BYU Dance department's "Dance in Concert." Oh the college life! So much reading, yet sooooo darn fun!!!!
I wanted today's Photo 3-6-5 picture to reflect Sunday. I was going through some photo ideas on Google and saw one with wedding rings and thought, "I can mess around with some of my jewelry and see what happens!" So I did, and this was the result!!!!

Ernest Builds a Snowman

It's been almost four months since my last post!! I can't believe I've been so busy!! In honor of a new year and a new semester, I've started "Photo 3-6-5" which means I take at least one picture a day and post it on Facebook for an entire YEAR!! I'm going to post them on here as well! So here are the first 2 days of the year!!! We had a big snowfall last night; almost 6 inches of fluff on the ground!!
